Why biochar?

About
our company

Founded in 2022, Carbontec Inc. was forged by Nick Rich-Vetsch out of his passion for reframing waste as a resource.

Working for many years as a Solid Waste Engineering Consultant, Nick found that the biochar world was greatly undervalued and underrepresented in America. Diving deep into the research, he decided to create his own company to promote, sell, and consult on everything biochar and biomass to energy.

Today, he and his wife, Kylie, are working hard to help solve many of the waste problems arising in our society.
